| Families can benefit greatly from
a Scripture-memory series that is built on the strength
of great songs.
We believe SEEDS will capture the ears and the hearts
of school-aged kids.
Seeds is a labor of love for 4 dads.
It was born out of the experience of Jason Houser, who
was asked to write melodies to six Bible verses children
were learning at his church (Harpeth Community Church
in Franklin, TN) during Vacation Bible School. The response
to his songs from the kids and their parents was overwhelming. By
the end of the week of VBS, the child had easily memorized
all of the
verses. Houser remembers the time
vividly, saying, “I have seen how the energy
of positive music combined with the power of God’s
Word has impacted kids’ lives — my own
kids, and the kids in our church. I’m excited
to be able to put these on CDs and make them available
to other families.” Jason and his partner, Michael Martin, partnered with
former Big Idea (VeggieTales) executives Michael Hagerty
and Ben Howard, who were looking for projects into
which they could invest themselves that would have
a lasting impact on kids and families. The group met
up, the idea was discussed, and Seeds was born. It
is our hope that you’ll enjoy the music,
and see the potential for a tool like this with your
